DMC tapestry wool is a strong fiber great for giving your piece a traditional look. It was the original fiber of choice when William Morris brought tapestry into the homes of many during the Arts and Crafts movement. We think wool is a great choice for both traditional and kitschy designs.

DMC Perle Cotton is a mercerized has a lovely sheen and is available in a large range of colors. It is the perfect fiber for needlepointing as it does not fluff and gives wonderful coverage and volume.  

DMC Stranded Cotton is an affordable option and a great standard for needlepoint. They have a plethora of nice bright and juicy colors, so stranded cotton is perfect for a needlepoint piece that demands lots of color!

Needlepoint Inc's 100% silk is exquisite and luxurious to use. Their color range is really something! There are many designs we offer here that we think would look wonderful in silks, including many of the John William Waterhouse paintings that has an eastern and exotic flair. Silk is great for that special project.
